A book about the clothes firm Mah-Jong (1966-1976) who were strongly opposed to the Vietnam war and Sweden’s seamstresses low wages. The designs stood out for their bold colours, soft fabric, unisex ideal, ethics and politics. Mah-Jong didn’t give a face to the Swedish youth revolution but it certainly gave a look it. And for this it was either loved or hated.
The book was part of an exhibition ‘Pret-a-protester’ which was produced in cooperation with The Textile Museum in Borås and toured Sweden until the end of 2005.

“Terezín is like a diamond. If every European country polished one side each, it would be perfect!” And just like a diamond, it reflects not only the sunlight in the yard below us, but also our history, our present, and our future. Everything connects here.
A book made for the Swedish Ministry of Culture about the Nazi concentration camp in Terezín (or Theresienstadt) in the Czech Republic.
