Why now is the perfect time to build
We’re living through something pretty special right now. The big tech companies are throwing around money like it’s nothing – we’re talking absolutely insane amounts.
OpenAI has grabbed over 22 billion dollars, Anthropic (makers of Claude) is sitting on 10 billion, and Google are planning to drop at least 100 billion on AI. Even Meta is jumping in with 40 billion.
But here’s the thing that gets me excited: all this money they’re spending? It’s basically becoming free tools for us to use.
Build something cool
It’s like they’re building this massive playground and saying “Hey, come build something cool!”
I was thinking about this the other day. We’ve never had it this good when it comes to testing new ideas.
The tools are powerful, they’re basically free, and they’re getting better literally every month. You can spin up a prototype in days that would’ve taken months just a couple of years ago.
Remember when building a new app meant you had to figure out everything from scratch?
Now you’ve got like five different AI companies fighting to help you with whatever you need – whether it’s writing code, creating images, handling text, generating music or voicing your next video.
They’re all trying to outdo each other, which means better tools for us.
The interesting part? The real value isn’t in the AI models themselves anymore. Or at least there is no point in trying to compete there unless you sit on a couple of billions.
It’s in what you build with them. While these companies are spending trillions developing the technology, the opportunity is in figuring out how to use it to solve real problems.
Time to build
So here’s my question: What are you building?
Because honestly, if you’ve been sitting on an idea, waiting for the right time – this is it.
The tools are there. They’re powerful. They’re accessible. And the best part? The field is still wide open.
You don’t need millions in funding. You don’t need a team of AI researchers. You just need a good idea and the willingness to experiment with these tools.
I’m genuinely curious – what could you build with all this technology at your fingertips?
